As the Christmas holidays quickly approach, Mercer Cycling welcomes a new sponsor on-board, an early Christmas present for the 2011 team. Bike Tech of Macon, located on Vineville Avenue, will be the team's official race shop for the 2011 spring season.
"We're excited about the addition of a quality shop and the support they'll provide to our cyclists and team for the upcoming year," said team director Andrew Lockwood. "They offer great products and service and we're proud to have them on board. They have an excellent track record with other teams in the past, including last year's Walthall Oil Cycling Team as well as the Macon ChainGang."
Bike Tech of Macon carries reputable brands Specialized, Cannondale, and Masi. Established in 1982, the store has been servicing Macon cyclists for nearly 20 years.
